Laura Jones is the Main Character (MC) of Mystic Code. Changing her name in the beggining of the game is free; however, it costs 3 keys to change it again later on. Her appearance is the default look for the MC.
The player has various options in the course of the game that can change its plot entirely.

Powers[]
Laura casts a spell to use her psychometry powers, and shapeshifts as she does so. Her psychometry powers are sometimes randomly triggered.
Like every Mystic, Laura ages slower than humans.

In her human form, Laura has pale skin, dark brown hair and orange eyes. She is always dressed in a cream colored suit and slacks, with a white shirt underneath.
When she takes her Mystic form, of a nine-tailed fox, her hair turns white and her eyes, yellow. Her outfit also changes into a white suit paired with a black undershirt. She also gets pointy ears and her nose changes slightly.
Her looks are of someone who is 28 years old, but she revealed in her tips that she was actually born in the 9th year of Emperor Hyeonjong's rule. This would make her more than 1000 years old.
Timeline (no spoilers)[]
Laura is called up by Theodore Wilson to go back to Seoul, after 14 years of being in Duksu, to help with the Sillim Police Murder Case where Sumin Choi is solely the victim.
